Bus carrying ITBP personnel falls into Sindh river in J&K’s Ganderbal
The bus carrying ITBP personnel fell into the Sindh river at Kullan in the Ganderbal district. All personnel on board the bus were rescued.
The bus carrying ITBP personnel fell into the Sindh river at Kullan in the Ganderbal district amidst heavy rain, the officials said, adding that all personnel on board the bus were rescued. However, it was not immediately clear how many personnel were on the bus.
“The driver has sustained injuries and has been shifted to a hospital,” an official said.

A bus carrying personnel from the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) fell into the Sindh river in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ganderbal district. Officials told the news agency PTI that the incident happened in the Kullan area of Gander Bal amidst heavy rain.

A bus carrying the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel fell into the Sindh river in the Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.
Officials told the news agency PTI that the incident happened in the Kullan area of Ganderbal amidst heavy rain. They added that all personnel and driver of the bus were rescued.
The news agency also shared the visuals of the submerged bus.

Separately, the news agency IANS reported that the driver sustained injury and was shifted to the hospital where his condition was said to be stable.
