An empty bus on its way to carry Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel fell into Sindh River in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ganderbal on Wednesday, July 30.The driver met with injuries but is in stable condition, the police said.”During wee hours, at Resin Kullan, Ganderbal, one empty Bus earmarked for ferrying troops of ITBP, while negotiating a curve, slipped into river Sind. Driver met minor injuries and is stable,” Ganderbal Police said in a statement on X (formerly Twitter).A joint search and rescue operation has been launched by the Jammu & Kashmir State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) teams of Ganderbal and Gund regions at Kullan in River Sindh, reported news agency ANI.The team has recovered three weapons as of yet and the operation to recover others is underway.More details are awaited on the matter.(This is a developing story. ITBP bus falls into Sindh in J&K’s Ganderbal
A bus carrying personnel from the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) fell into the Sindh river in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ganderbal district. Officials told the news agency PTI that the incident happened in the Kullan area of Gander Bal amidst heavy rain.

A bus carrying the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel fell into the Sindh river in the Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.
Officials told the news agency PTI that the incident happened in the Kullan area of Ganderbal amidst heavy rain. They added that all personnel and driver of the bus were rescued.
The news agency also shared the visuals of the submerged bus.

Separately, the news agency IANS reported that the driver sustained injury and was shifted to the hospital where his condition was said to be stable.
