Julia Butters wore a look from Balmain’s Fall 2023 collection—another example of how capri trousers can look good on the right person, though I’m still not convinced it’s a trend I’ll be adopting. In truth, it’s the off-the-shoulder bright red jacket that steals the show here; bold, sculptural, and full of attitude, it carries the whole look.

The only thing I’m not sold on are those cut-out boots. They’re a bold choice, and while I’m not sold, she’s certainly owning them.
