I often feel like I live in a very different world from most celebrities. After all, they have access to designer clothes, famous personal trainers, the world’s best makeup artists and have an unimaginable level of status, wealth and privilege that someone like me — your average, run-of-the-mill everyday person — can only dream of. But throughout my many years writing about the beauty industry, and coming across countless celebrity beauty product recommendations, one thing has really stood out to me: An awful lot of their favorite beauty products are not just ones I can actually afford, but are ones I’ve actually used at some point!

Take Martha Stewart, for example. A few years ago her makeup artist shared that she uses L’Oreal’s Lumi Glotion on her “for dewiness and a smooth canvas for makeup.” The discovery was exciting not just because L’Oreal is an accessible brand that most people can afford, but because it’s something I’ve actually enjoyed using on my own skin! Knowing that a celebrity makeup artist who, theoretically, has access to a boundless number of beauty products, reached for the same drugstore brand I grabbed on my last trip to Walgreens, to glam up Martha up for an outing had me feeling some type of way. A little bit like I had discovered a secret I didn’t know I wanted to hear. But hey, if it’s good enough for Martha, it’s good enough for me!

I’m not alone in that feeling that comes with discovering someone famous likes the same thing as you. When AOL writer Chloe Toscano discovered that Khloe Kardashian used the same lip balm as her, she “felt excited about the fact that even the Kardashians sometimes like minimalist makeup products,” she wrote. “Knowing that Kourtney likes these too makes me feel more high-tone, even in my sheer lip.”

What other anti-aging beauty products do celebrities use, you may be wondering? From the $20 serum that Drew Barrymore likes to “douse herself with,” to Jennifer Aniston’s under-eye stick, to the $17 sleep essential that Rob Lowe “[keeps] everywhere: in my car, in my backpack, in my bedside table,” the stars and their glam squads aren’t shy about sharing the products they use to look and feel their best each and every day.

While some of their recommendations are fully transparent brand partnerships, we’d like to believe that most celebs wouldn’t put their name, face and reputation behind a product that they didn’t genuinely like to use. With that said, below is a comprehensive list of some of the anti-aging beauty products, from moisturizers and eye creams to hair oils and lip balms, that A-listers recommend and that we think you, dear AOL reader, might enjoy.

Health Priority Natural Products Health Priority Vitamin E Oil Barrymore has said she likes to “douse” herself with this cheap, organic vitamin E oil after a week spent too frequently in the hair and makeup chair. “During the week, I’m caked in makeup and frying my hair at work, so I’m just trying to bring that hydration back in,” she told Well + Good in 2021. “It’s become a huge priority for me in the last year, and now I just want to be soaking in this stuff.” There’s a lot of hydration in this little bottle, too. This powerhouse includes jojoba, avocado and rice bran oils for an added moisturizing punch you can use on your face, body, lips and hair. Beyond quenching thirsty skin, vitamin E oil also helps diminish the look of wrinkles by locking in skin’s natural moisture and promoting the production of collagen and elastin. $20 at Amazon

TATCHA Tatcha The Serum Stick In 2021, Jennifer Aniston snapped a behind-the-scenes pic of her makeup artist’s counter and revealed all the skin-care products used to prep her face for “The Morning Show.” Eagle-eyed beauty sleuths spotted this serum stick from cult-favorite Japanese-inspired beauty brand Tatcha. This serum stick is the ideal delivery system for softening fine lines, prepping skin for makeup and targeting dry patches. It’s made of 80 percent squalane — a known skin fortifier — and is also fragrance-free, cruelty-free plus dermatologist-tested. When we’ve tried this ultra-silky balm it’s left behind a dewy finish to wherever it’s been applied and it’s beyond-amazing for smoothing the undereye area before applying concealer, to avoid makeup settling into fine lines. $49 at Amazon Explore More Buying Options $49 at Tatcha

And in 2019, Halle Berry took to Instagram to dish on her personal secret to combating stretch marks. “It’s the only thing I believe, just in my personal opinion, that actually puts a dent in removing your stretch marks and that’s this oil called Bio-Oil,” she said on her Instagram stories. “I’ve been using it for, I don’t know, 15 years now. I got through both of my children, this oil helped. I got through stretch marks from my gymnastics days as a kid, this oil helped—and as you see, I use it so much mine is almost empty,” she said. Indio Papago Del Indio Papago Cream With Tepezcohuite Salma Hayek may be 58 years old, but the actress never seems to age. She spilled her secret to anti-aging skin back in a 2015 interview with Elle magazine, where she dished on a little-known ingredient native to Latin America. “I use an ingredient called Tepezcohuite that’s used in Mexico for burn victims because it completely regenerates the skin,” she told Elle. At the time, the actress chalked up this miracle ingredient to “why I have no Botox, no peels, no fillings.” And while that interview might’ve been a decade ago, the Frida actress still has a dewy complexion and smooth skin that many envy, which is why it’s no surprise that Amazon shoppers have been loving the Del Indio Papago Night Cream with Tepezcohuite. The cream contains Tepezcohuite powder, collagen and vitamin E. $15 at Amazon

TheraFace Therabody TheraFace PRO Microcurrent Facial Device Last year, Sydney Sweeney told New York Magazine’s The Strategist that the TheraFace PRO, an 8-in-1 facial massager, was one of her favorite things she owns. Naturally, that piqued our interest. The TheraFace Pro Microcurrent device may look mysterious, but it makes a big difference on Sydney Sweeney’s skincare routine, according to the 27-year-old actress. While she admits that she has “no idea what it’s doing,” she does know one thing: “It definitely tones and sculpts my face,” and that’s more than enough for us. The tool itself sends small currents of electricity to stimulate your facial muscles, firm your skin and encourage collagen production. It comes with eight attachments including three types of LED light rings: red for reducing the appearance of wrinkles, blue for treating sun damage, and yellow for soothing inflammation. It also comes with three percussive attachments (core, micro-point and flat), a microcurrent ring, and a cleansing ring. $420 at Amazon Explore More Buying Options $420 at Nordstrom

Neutrogena’s Body Oil Light Sesame Formula has been a best-seller for years, revered by shoppers for its lightweight moisturizing formula, refreshing scent and non-greasy touch.
