Chelsea releases Pride Lifestyle Collection
The collection was designed in consultation with Chelsea supporters and embodies the spirit of, and celebrates, the LGBTQIA+ community. The shoot featured LGBTQIA+. The collection, inspired by our history and London’s creative spirit, was designed in consultation with Chelsea supporters and embodies the spirit of, and celebrates, the LGBTQIA+ community. It can be worn by anyone, at any time.
Tracy Brown, chair of Chelsea Pride, the club’s LGBTQIA+ supporters’ group and consultee in the design process, said: ‘We are incredibly proud to collaborate with Chelsea FC on this Pride collection. It is so important to the LGBTQIA+ football community and our allies to see this beautiful collection.’
The collection imagery was shot just outside Stamford Bridge by photographer Una Burnand, a lifelong Chelsea fan from the LGBTQIA+ community. The shoot, which featured LGBTQIA+ Chelsea fans belonging to a women’s and non-binary grassroots football team from west London called Shepherd’s Booters FC, was the culmination of a collection that was designed and built to champion the community on and off the pitch.
Rose Aaliyah, a lifelong Chelsea fan who features in the photography, reflected: ‘I’ve been a fan of Chelsea since I was a little kid. For Chelsea to be championing Pride with this collection is amazing.’
Rose, who is also captain and manager of Shepherd’s Booters FC, then added: ‘Whoever You May Be is a motto which is important at all levels of the game. It’s really inspiring to see a club that I love supporting Pride in such an exciting way.’
The collection is inspired by a deep-rooted sense of community, reflecting the close-knit bonds we share and paying tribute to the iconic heart celebration that symbolises connection, passion and unity.
Honouring the iconic colours of the Pride flag, we have woven them into a symbolic design that places inclusivity and self-expression at the heart.
Tracy Brown commented that with this range, ‘Chelsea doesn’t just talk about diversity and inclusion; they celebrate it with us. Whoever you may be, you belong here at Chelsea.’
