People in Business: The Lasting Legacy Award is given to people who have made a difference in the lives of others. The award is presented by the Washington Recreation and Park Association.
James Fields, aquatics coordinator for the city of Vancouver, was recently awarded The Lasting Legacy Award — formally known as Distinguished Service — by the Washington Recreation and Park Association.
This award honors recently retired professionals for outstanding service in the field of parks and recreation.
In addition, Vancouver Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services was recently given special recognition by the Washington Recreation and Park Association for its work on the Vancouver Arts and Music Festival.
