Vancouver’s Downtown Association is now an Accredited Main Street Program through Main Street America.

Since 2005, the downtown association has been affiliated with Main Street America through Washington Main Street.

“After years of dedication and steady growth, we’ve reached a new level of excellence with full national accreditation,” the association said in a statement.

Being recognized as an Accredited Main Street Program affirms the impact of Vancouver’s Downtown Association’s work and brings new opportunities to the table, including expanded grant opportunities, access to training and resources, stronger connections with peer communities across the country and greater visibility at both the state and national levels, according to the statement.
