Construction to close road outside Sunflower Sports Complex, expected to last weeks
NW 17th St. is set to be closed to through traffic at the project site. People can still access the soccer complex through a marked detour. The work is expected to be complete within three weeks, weather permitting.Drivers are encouraged to remain cautious in construction zones.
The City of Topeka announced on Tuesday that crews will begin some asphalt and patching work on NW 17th St./Lower Silver Lake Rd. west of the US-75 on/off ramp on Monday, August 18.

Work is expected to be complete within three weeks, weather permitting.
