Company Shares Hit Upper Circuit
Coming to the shares of this lesser-known entity from Tamil Nadu, the company shares started the day’s trade at Rs 121.50 per share, higher than its previous day’s closing of Rs 114.29. Thereafter, the company shares had no looking back, at least for today.
The Lambodhara Textiles shares hit the upper circuit, taking the total gains attained in the day to a staggering 19.99 per cent or Rs 22.85. This addition in value in the very first hour of trade has taken the overall value of the company stocks to Rs 137.14 per piece.
The company’s best performance saw its 52-week high of Rs 248.00. While the company’s 52-week low stood at Rs 99.65 per share.

When we look at the company’s performance in the balance sheet, the company’s Q3 for FY25 results shows that the company attained net sales of Rs 60.82 crore in the quarter that concluded in December 2024.

While this number is lower than the company’s previous (adjacent quarter or Q2) quarter, when the company accrued a total income of Rs 60.92 crore, it is far higher than the total income from operations atained on a year on year basis.

Former India cricketer Madan Lal reacted emotionally, saying, “People will never forget this horrifying incident—or Virat. While people were dying outside, celebrations continued inside. It’s shocking and tragic.” He also suggested that victims’ families consider filing a ₹100 crore lawsuit against RCB and the state government.

“I don’t want to defend this incident. Our government will not do politics on this. I have ordered a magisterial inquiry and given 15 days’ time,” he added.
“There was a stampede. No one expected such a huge crowd. The stadium has a capacity of only 35,000 people, but 2-3 lakh people came,” Siddaramaiah further said.
Before the stampede was reported, visuals that emerged on television and social media showed police trying to manage the scores of RCB supporters who turned up at the stadium to witness the felicitation of the team by the Karnataka Cricket Association.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi condoled the loss of lives due to the stampede. “The mishap in Bengaluru is absolutely heartrending. In this tragic hour, my thoughts are with all those who have lost their loved ones. I pray that those who are injured have a speedy recovery,” he said.
State’s Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, while speaking to reporters outside the Vidhana Soudha, noted that the crowd was uncontrollable. “I apologise for the overcrowding,” NDTV quoted him as saying. “We arranged more than 5,000 personnel. This is a young vibrant crowd, we can’t use lathi on them.”
