Delhi weather: Rains lash parts of NCR, IMD predicts thunderstorm today
Rainfall lashed parts of Delhi early Thursday (July 31) The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predictedd light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorm on July 31. The maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to settle at 30-32 degrees Celsius and the minimum at 23-25 degrees Celsius, the IMD said.

“Generally cloudy sky. Light to moderate rain accompanied with thunderstorms/lightning. The maximum and minimum temperatures over Delhi are likely to be in the range of 30 to 32°C and 23 to 25°C respectively. The minimum temperature will be below normal up to 2 to 4°C and the maximum temperature will be below normal up to 2 to 4°C,” the IMD said.
Heavy rainfall and waterlogging The fresh spell of rain came a day after heavy rainfall lashed several parts of Delhi.
Delhi has been experiencing uneven rainfall over the past few days, leading to waterlogging in several areas and causing inconvenience to commuters.

Delhi weather forecast for next 7 days The weather department has predicted light rainfall in Delhi-NCR till August 5.
Meanwhile, in its July 30 bulletin, the IMD forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall over northeast India during next seven days.
The IMD advised people to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and be ready to move to safer places accordingly, stay indoors, close windows & doors and avoid travel if possible, take safe shelters.
