Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi shared a video of a bunch of their sheep coming into their home. The pair are no strangers to farm life, having lived on horse ranches before and raising chickens alongside the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. After Donald Trump’s victory in the 2024 U.S. presidential election, they left all of their California properties behind to move to the UK. They bought a Cotswald property, but it had problems like the alleged fights with neighbors, “technical breaches” with their property, and more.
Earlier this week, DeGeneres shared a video of a bunch of their sheep coming into their home (and hanging with their dog). She shared the video on her Instagram with the caption reading, “Our sheep keep coming inside. To be fair, we do have a piece of furniture that looks like a sheep, but that one doesn’t try to eat our rugs.”
In the videos, we see how their sheep, one of whom is named Bernie, comes into their living room (and bothers their dog named Kid). Now, the pair are no strangers to farm life, having lived on horse ranches before and raising chickens alongside the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. But this new home has really brought the farm-loving lifestyle out of them, from showing the silly antics of their animals and how arduous it is to mow their huge lawn.

For those who don’t know, DeGeneres and Rossi met back in 2001 at a Rock the Vote concert. However, they didn’t get together until 2004. When they reconnected in 2004, they split with their respective partners, and they started dating. The pair later got engaged, and married in Aug 2008.
After Donald Trump’s victory in the 2024 U.S. presidential election, DeGeneres and Rossi left all of their California properties behind to move to the UK. There has been considerable speculation about the reasons behind their decision: political motivations, avoidance of high taxes in California, and other factors; yet they have never confirmed or denied any of them to this day.
And soon after they moved to the UK, they moved again. They bought a Cotswald property, but it had a bunch of problems like the alleged fights with neighbors, “technical breaches” with their property, and more. Because of this, they allegedly moved to a country home around the bend, and from what we can see, they’re truly loving farm life.
