Samsung was reported to have started the prototype mass production of the Exynos 2600 in June, using its next-generation 2nm GAA process to give its upcoming SoC a fighting chance against the competition. While the yield progress is currently in the dark, the first piece of evidence indicating that the Korean giant has commenced early testing of the chipset arrives as a benchmark leak, revealing the single-core and multi-core scores, along with a 10-core cluster. The chipset is likely being tweaked to be ‘market ready,’ with Samsung expected to use its silicon in next year’s Galaxy S26 family.

The highest clocked speed recorded in the benchmark is 3.55GHz; Exynos 2600 could reach increased frequencies when the final version is found in select Galaxy S26 models

Looking at the clock speeds, it is entirely possible for Samsung to ditch the efficiency cores and switch to an ‘all performance’ cores affair thanks to its 2nm GAA technology, which promises lowered power consumption compared to its 3nm GAA node.

Of course, readers would have spotted the low single-core and multi-core scores, and while these figures are disappointingly low, we must remind you that the Exynos 2600 is in its early testing phase, so we expect those numbers to go up, just like the clock speeds, which are currently limited to 3.55GHz. We also noticed that the device being tested with Samsung’s latest and greatest SoC is kitted with 12GB RAM. Earlier this year, the company launched the Galaxy S25 family with the aforementioned memory count as standard, so it is likely that the Galaxy S26’s model will ship with the exact specification.

Based on a previous report, the Exynos 2600 design should be ready by the third quarter for Samsung to have any hope of officially mass manufacturing the chipset.
