Faye enters the OTA space, hits $100 million in sales
Travel insurance provider Faye is moving into the OTA space. Ski.com customers can purchase Faye insurance at checkout. Faye on Wednesday announced it has reached $100 million in sales since it was launched three years ago. The two companies share modern, tech-forward attitudes, Faye’s CEO says.
CEO and co-founder Elad Schaffer called the partnership “a natural evolution for Faye.” The two companies share modern, tech-forward attitudes, Schaffer said.
“Welcoming Ski.com to our growing roster of partners, which already includes leaders like Fora and Forbes, marks just the beginning,” Schaffer added. “We’re excited to soon launch offerings tailored to luxury escapes, short-term rentals, group travel and cruise lines.”
Additionally, Faye on Wednesday announced it has reached $100 million in sales since it was launched three years ago.
Features for travel advisors
Faye has launched several features for travel advisors using the Faye Advisor Portal.
Advisors can now file claims on behalf of their clients. A claim will show up in a client’s Faye app, enabling them to track claims, add documents and seek support.
Advisors can also add clients’ flights to their Faye app, which gives travelers real-time updates on delays, cancellations and gate changes.
Finally, Faye has given advisors the ability to securely upload client documents to the app’s Safekeeping feature from the advisor portal. That includes documents like tickets, passport copies and reservation confirmations.
