PARK CITY, Utah — Park City Council candidates have filed their first round of campaign finance reports ahead of the Aug. 12 primary election, which will narrow the field of City Council candidates from eight to four.

Diego Zegarra leads the field by a significant margin, reporting just under $26,000 in contributions. His donor list includes Park City Community Foundation board members, as well as several “in-kind” donations, non-cash goods or services provided to the campaign.

The next highest fundraiser is Danny Glasser, who reported almost $18,000. Glasser himself was listed as the biggest donor, contributing about $10,500 to the campaign. Notably, Mayor Nan Worel and her husband were also listed as donating $105.72 to Glasser’s campaign.
