Roma’s preseason is set to kick off today.

The Giallorossi will regroup at Trigoria to complete their medical tests and begin preparations in view of the upcoming season.

The first one to arrive at the capital club’s sports center this morning was coach Gian Piero Gasperini.

The ex-Atalanta boss was greeted by about thirty fans who stood waiting outside the gates of Roma’s sports center.

Roma have issued an official announcement with regards to the dates of the team’s preseason training camp.

“Team gathering, preparation, pre-season training and friendly matches: Roma’s summer, with Gian Piero Gasperini as coach, is starting to take shape.

The Roma squad will meet at the Centro Sportivo Fulvio Bernardini on Sunday 13 July to start preparing for the upcoming 2025-26 season.

Following the confirmation of Roma’s first test against Kaiserslautern on Saturday 26 July, the team will play its second friendly match on 2 August against French club Lens at the Stade Bollaerts-Delelis at 18:00 CEST. The match is part of the first edition of the Trophée 1906, to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the French club. On this occasion Lens are going to officially open the new season in front of their fans.

At the end of the match, Gian Piero Gasperini’s team will head to England to train at St George’s Park in Burton upon Trent from 2 to 8 August. During this training period they will be playing against Aston Villa on 6 August at Bescot Stadium at 20:30 (19:30 local time). It will be a great European match against Unai Emery’s team, which was eliminated in last year’s Champions League quarter finals by PSG.

After a six-day training period at the FA’s national football centre, on 9 August Roma will play another prestigious friendly match at Everton’s brand-new Hill Dickinson Stadium in Liverpool. Kick-off is at 16:00 CEST (15:00 local time).

Roma are organizing their summer preseason with Gian Piero Gasperini at the helm.

After the friendly test already scheduled against Lens, another important event is being added to the calendar of pre-season games.

According to German newspaper Die Rheinpfalz, Roma should face Kaiserslautern, a team from the 2. Bundesliga, on July 26.
