Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla aboard the International Space Station. PM Modi asked the astronaut if he had brought along ‘gajar ka halwa,’ to which Shukla confirmed he had taken gajar ka halwa, moong dal halwa, and aam ras. He said that the dishes were shared with astronauts from other countries, and everyone had enjoyed them. Shukla also described how, due to the effects of microgravity, he had to tie his legs to remain stable while speaking with the Prime Minister.
