Anitha: Jagan’s act of visiting Prasanna Reddy’s house in the name of a threat to the latter’s life is very much unbecoming of a political leader. Anitha said it is the duty of the police to maintain law and order in the state. She added that the NDA would never prevent any political party leader from touring anywhere.

She said it is appalling that Jagan visited his party leader and former MLA Nallapureddy Prasanna Kumar Reddy’s residence to express his solidarity to someone who hurled abusive slurs against Kovur MLA Vemiredddy Prashanthi Reddy, who, ironically, is also Nallapureddy’s sister.

“Jagan’s act of visiting Prasanna Reddy’s house in the name of a threat to the latter’s life is very much unbecoming of a political leader.

Does Jagan support his party leader’s remarks against Prashanthi Reddy? What message does Jagan want to convey with this visit?” Anitha asked.

She also accused the YSRCP chief of encouraging his own party social media workers and party handles to post abusive content against his mother YS Vijayamma and sister YS Sharmila. “Jagan did not utter a single word; instead, he encouraged his party’s social media workers to abuse his mother and sister.

And today, he visited his fellow party leader who hurled slurs against a woman MLA, who is also his sister. These actions by the opposition leader indicate that all is not well with Jagan’s mental condition,” Anitha remarked.

Responding to Jagan’s allegation of filing illegal cases, Anitha said it is the duty of the police to maintain law and order in the state. She accused Jagan of turning his tours into a show of strength, and claiming the lives of innocent people and his own party workers. The minister further added that the NDA govt would never prevent any political party leader from touring anywhere in the state and assured to provide permission to Jagan for his visits, provided he gives details of his visit in the proforma made by the police dept.
