IOLA, WI – The engines are roaring once again as the Iola Car Show kicks off its 53rd year, promising one of the biggest events yet for car lovers and families alike.

Executive Director Joe Opperman says this year’s show is shaping up to be massive. “It’s one of the biggest car shows and swap meets anywhere on the planet Earth,” Opperman said. Vendor spots are nearly sold out, with the final few expected to go quickly as setup begins for the show.

But the event is about more than just classic cars and chrome. “We have special guests all three days, musical entertainment starting midday each day, and some exciting vehicle unveilings from both celebrities and well-known local shops,” Opperman added.

The Iola Car Show runs July 10–12, and organizers expect more than 120,000 people to attend throughout the weekend. With its blend of automotive history, live entertainment, and community spirit, the event remains one of Wisconsin’s most iconic summer traditions.
