iOS 26 Beta is Hiding a New Tune and It Could be iPhone 17’s Default Ringtone
The new tone is essentially a different variant of the existing “Reflection” ringtone- the one that has been the default ringtone for iPhones since the iPhone X came out in 2017. It’s not officially in the ringtone selections yet, but it’s in the iOS 26’s beta code and will show up when the time is right.

The X account @8810cfw was the first to post it online. It garnered even more attention when ShrimpApplePro, a well-known Apple tipster, shared it again.
The newly discovered ringtone is likely to be the default ringtone for iPhone 17 which is to launch this year in September.
Apple has made no comments on this nor has the company given any confirmation to such ringtone existing. It is also uncertain if the new ringtone will show up in the stable build of operating system. This is something that sometimes happens with beta versions. But because the iPhone 17 will come out later this year, this could be Apple’s way of giving us a hint about what is to come.
