Free Science of Parenting Workshops: Enhancing Parenting Through Education
Raising children can be a challenging endeavor for many parents, especially without the proper support and educational resources. Recognizing this need, Iowa State University’s Science of Parenting team is offering four online workshops designed to provide parents with effective strategies and research-based information. These workshops will not only address parenting techniques but will also provide insights into the diverse aspects of child development and discipline.
Why Participate in Parenting Workshops?
According to research by Zero to Three (2016), 80% of parents actively work towards being better parents, and 69% express interest in learning more about positive parenting strategies. Despite this motivation, nearly half of these parents still struggle to find the guidance and support they seek, particularly during stressful times.
