JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Two men are facing felony charges after an investigation uncovered drugs and firearms inside a Jacksonville business, the sheriff’s office announced Thursday.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said investigators received a tip that drug dealers were using a North Main Street business to sell illegal narcotics. The business is next to a church and across the street from a middle school, police said.
After executing a search warrant on the property, police said detectives found and seized the following items:
13.9 grams of fentanyl (enough to potentially kill nearly 7,000 people)
16.1 grams of powder cocaine
4.6 grams of crack cocaine
1.9 grams of oxycodone
347.7 grams of marijuana
2 firearms (one had been reported lost)
$2,966 in cash
