The nation’s largest Independence Day celebration got a whole lot bigger this year.

Indeed, the Jonas Brothers returned to Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks, which streamed live on NBC from New York, to perform their hits including “No Time to Talk” and “Leave Before You Love Me.”

And while Kevin Jonas, Nick Jonas and Joe Jonas were putting in hours for the holiday, they weren’t the only ones who were owning the night like the Fourth of July. After all, the Macy’s summer event, hosted by Ariana DeBose, included many more awe-worthy moments. Keke Palmer and Eric Church also shined onstage, performing songs like “Standards” and “Hell of a View” before Lenny Kravitz closed out the show with his hit song “Fly Away.”

Of course, stars who didn’t make it out to the iconic New York City fireworks display still celebrated the holiday in their own way. Khloe Kardashian, for her part, shared a glimpse into her day with some of the family’s second generation, including her owns kids True, 7, and Tatum, 2, as well as brother Rob Kardashian and his ex Blac Chyna’s 8-year-old daughter Dream.

The Good American founder proved to pull out all the stops for her family’s celebration. Khloe shared that the group attended a neighborhood parade and hosted a backyard party complete with croissants, doughnuts, burgers and an ice cream sundae-making station.

In honor of the Declaration of Independence’s 249th anniversary on July 4, 2025, familiar faces like Meghan Markle, Khloe Kardashian, Jimmy Kimmel, and more embraced the spirit of liberty, democracy, and summer fun.

The competitive eater emerged victorious in the 2025 Nathan’s Famous Fourth of July Hot Dog Eating Contest in New York City after ingesting a staggering 70.5 wieners within 10 minutes, helping him claim his 17th non-consecutive win at the annual event.

While Joey, 41, managed to scarf down 24 more hot dogs than his next closest rival Patrick Bertoletti, he admitted to falling short of his own expectations.

“My goal was 70 to 77,” he told ESPN moments after his triumph. “I really wanted a little bit more, but you know what? There’s next year. I’m just happy I’m here.”

Indeed, Joey—who consumed a record-breaking 76 wieners in 2021—pointed out that his biggest obstacle is often himself.

“Showing up is the hardest part sometimes,” he continued. “But I love being here. As soon as I found out I was coming, my body was easy to train. I love doing it. I love pushing myself and beating the heck out of people.”

The sisters were spotted wearing casual ensembles as they made a low-key exit from the Italian city, presumably to board a private flight back to Los Angeles.
