Killeen ISD Athletics move to mobile ticketing for 2025–26 sports season
Killeen ISD will switch to mobile-only ticketing for all athletic events starting in the 2025–26 school year. Online and QR code purchases will replace cash sales at event gates. Attendees can also scan a designated QR code at the venue entrance to buy tickets on-site. Those purchasing tickets on a laptop or desktop can print them in advance and bring them to the game.
KILLEEN, Texas — Beginning with the 2025–26 fall sports season, Killeen ISD will transition to a fully mobile ticketing system for all middle school and high school athletic events.
Fans will be required to purchase tickets online via mobile devices or computers, as cash payments will no longer be accepted at event gates. Attendees can also scan a designated QR code at the venue entrance to buy tickets on-site, but must have their mobile ticket ready for scanning before entry. Those purchasing tickets on a laptop or desktop can print them in advance and bring them to the game.
“Our goal was to create a smoother, faster and more convenient game day experience for our fans,” said Matt Carroll, KISD executive director for boys athletics. “With mobile tickets, we can reduce wait times at the gate, streamline entry and make sure everyone can focus on what matters most — enjoying the game and supporting our student-athletes.”
