To celebrate the arrival of summer in a tasty way, Ohio-based grocery retailer Kroger just introduced customers to a limited-time ice cream collection that perfectly captures sunny coastal vibes: Summer in a Pint.

“The Summer in a Pint collection turns iconic summer getaways into can’t-miss freezer aisle finds,” a Kroger spokesperson told Food & Wine via email.

The collection features four new ice cream and sherbet flavors: Italian Style Summer Fizz (a blood orange sherbet with candy clusters), Fireside Nights (toasted marshmallow ice cream with s’mores bits and an orange swirl), Sandy Shores (coconut ice cream with sweet and salty pretzel crunch), and Poolside Tan Lines (a blend of vanilla bean, chocolate, and coffee ice creams).

“The four new flavors are available now at participating Kroger Family of Store locations, only while supplies last,” Kroger confirmed to Food & Wine.

These seasonal ice cream and sherbet flavors aren’t all that Kroger has up its sleeve: The grocer will also provide coupons for 92,000 free pints of ice cream. This translates to 1,000 pints for all 92 days of summer. The exclusive offer officially launches on June 20 at noon Eastern Time.

“Last year, we were blown away by customer excitement for our free pint offer and this summer we are making it even sweeter,” Kroger’s group vice president of center store merchandising said in a statement. “Kroger is giving away 92,000 free pints of ice cream so more customers can celebrate the start of summer with a taste of our new flavors.”

Ice cream enthusiasts eager to join — because who doesn’t enjoy free ice cream? — can claim and download their digital single-use coupons for a free Kroger Brand ice cream, including the new flavors, through this website. The limited-time coupons will be redeemable from June 20 through July 4.

While the Summer in a Pint collection is perfectly crafted for the season and may be well worth a try, customers can also use the coupon for Kroger’s classic ice cream flavors — including Kroger Brand Deluxe Orange Cream, Kroger Brand Deluxe Rocky Road, or Kroger Brand Deluxe Cookies and Cream (all priced at $2.99 for a 48-ounce tub).

The free Kroger ice cream offer will be available in all U.S. states, excluding California, Colorado, Louisiana, Tennessee, and Nevada, and will be valid at all banner stores except for Metro Market, Pick ’n Save, Mariano’s, and QFC.
