Liberty Athletics Claims 2024-25 VaSID All-Sport Survey Honors
Liberty’s athletics programs finished the 2024-25 season with a 63.2 winning percentage (229-132-7) The Flames posted the top winning percentage among the 14 NCAA Division I athletics programs in the Commonwealth. Fifteen of Liberty’s 20 athletics programs have won a regular season or tournament championship during the last two years, resulting in 25 total conference titles. This is the third time Liberty Athletics has finished the year with the topwinning percentage in Virginia in the last five years and department history. The Flames also accomplished the feat in 2020-21 (70.5 percent/220-90-7), 2021-22 (65.4 percent/235-124-1) and 2022-23 (65-4 percent /235-125-1). Liberty Athletics also finished the 2016-17 season ranked No. 97 in the final Learfield Director’s Cup standings, which ranks the top collegiate athletics departments in the country. For the second year in a row, Liberty Athletics captured double-digit Conference USA titles, bringing home 11 CUSA trophies.
