Blaine-Birch Bay Park and Recreation is hosting WECU’s Old Fashioned Fourth of July celebration. The Bellingham Bells are hosting the Port Angeles Lefties this weekend for a three-game series at Joe Martin Field. The Booth Brothers will bring their brand of rootsy gospel to the stage along with Greater Vision and Tribute Quartet on Saturday evening. The Fairhaven Chicken Fest 2025 will be live music, chicken-themed vendors, carnival games and more from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday. The Semiahmoo Resort is hosting a full weekend of events on July 4 and 5, including a Paint and Sip event and a Summer BBQ with live music.
Blaine-Birch Bay Park and Recreation is hosting WECU’s Old Fashioned Fourth of July celebration.
It all kicks off on Friday, July 4 at 8 a.m. with a pancake breakfast at the Blaine Senior Center. Then from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. they are hosting a street fair, a parade and car show, a kid’s zone, a beer garden with live music, and, of course, the fireworks display at 10:30 p.m.

Across the bay, the Semiahmoo Resort is hosting a full weekend of events.
Semiahmoo Independence Weekend kicks off Friday with a Paint and Sip event at 4 p.m., a Summer BBQ with live music from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and great views of the fireworks display over the bay.
Then on Saturday, July 5, a Tidepool Exploration starts at 11 a.m., followed by an Artisan Market with live music and then another Semiahmoo Sips event from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Seaview Café.

Bellingham’s fireworks display is always spectacular too. This year’s fireworks show begins at 10:30 p.m. and will be visible from a few different areas around the bay.
