Logitech’s New Flip Folio Case And Keyboard For iPad Makes Work Much More Fun
The new Logitech Flip Folio is made for iPads and iPad Pros. The combination of case and keyboards … More is a flexible way of working with a tablet. Most iPad owners use their devices for entertainment about 80% of the time. For the other 20% the iPad is used for work when the user is out of the office or away on vacation. The case provides plenty of protection for the front and back of an iPad, making it suitable for use on the move. With the case in place, the iPad and keyboard can be tucked under an arm or stowed away in a work bag. It is powered by a small CR2016 lithium button cell which can last for up to two years before it needs replacing. This power source enables the keyboard to be slim and compact. And because there’s no rechargeable battery, there’s no need for a USB port.
According to recent research carried out for keyboard and mouse maker Logitech , most iPad owners use their devices for entertainment about 80% of the time. For the other 20% of the time, the iPad is used for work when the user is out of the office or away on vacation. An iPad is a lighter and more convenient alternative to a laptop and for many people has more than enough power.
To address this pattern of split usage by many iPad owners, Swiss keyboard and mouse giant Logitech has designed a new keyboard and case specifically for Apple’s iPad Pro (11-inch M4, 13-inch M4) and iPad Air (11-inch M2 & M3, 13-inch M2 & M3 and 5th Gen).
The Logitech Flip Folio has a protective case and a multi-angle kickstand for setting at variable viewing angles. The Flip Folio’s compact case keeps the iPad safe and includes a separate Bluetooth keyboard that can attach magnetically to the protective case.

Magnetic Keyboard
The design of the Flip Folio is different from many case and keyboard combos for iPads because the separate and full-sized keyboard can be positioned wherever the user needs it instead of insisting it is part of the case.
“We’ve designed Flip Folio to make the iPad experience both fun and functional,” says Joseph Mingori, the general manager of mobile and audio solutions at Logitech. “Flip Folio enhances everyday experiences–from binge-watching to checking social media or emails—by delivering portability and connectivity, setting people free so they can do what they love from anywhere.”
When not in use, the Flip Folio’s keyboard magnetically snaps to the back of the protective case for convenient storage. The case provides plenty of protection for the front and back of an iPad, making it suitable for use on the move. With the case in place, the iPad and keyboard can be tucked under an arm or stowed away in a work bag.
