Change Today Change Tomorrow held its third annual 5K run on Saturday, August 30.
This year’s theme was environmental justice. The run featured guest speakers who discussed how collective actions can impact public health, as well as the quality of land, air, and water.
The group also focused on improving access to quality healthy food, especially in West Louisville.
“The mission is not just about feeding people,” said Change Today Change Tomorrow board chair Rolanda London. “It’s also about engaging people with one another, so helping people work together to solve solutions, bring them access to things they may need: services, products, food, everything.”
The non-profit also offered a community resource fair set up for runners and walkers to check out after the course.
