‘Love Island’s’ JaNa Craig breaks silence after messy split from Kenny Rodriguez
“I’ve gotten the closure I need,” JaNa Craig told People. She said she fights hard times by “practicing gratitude” Craig confirmed her split with Kenny Rodriguez earlier this month. “I’ve gotten the closure I need,” Craig told the outlet, adding that she is a “positive person” and fights hard times by “practicing gratitude.”
“When bad things do happen, I just reflect,” she said. “Self-reflection is very, very important. I think people should do it all the time. I analyze the situation for myself, I just talk it out to myself. I pray on it. I talk to God about it, and then I just literally move on. I’m really, really good at moving on.”

Craig, who parlayed her “Love Island” fame into greater notoriety on the Peacock spinoff “Beyond the Villa,” confirmed her split with Rodriguez earlier this month after fans had noticed Page, Kateb, and both their respective partners (also “Love Island” stars) had unfollowed him.
The ex-couple later posted statements, with Rodriguez taking a more conciliatory tone while Craig blasted him as “disgusting” and “terrible.” Page and Kateb also came to Craig’s defense, implying in posts that Rodriguez has been a scammer and clout-chaser.
“It’s honestly my biggest flex,” Craig said of taking the high road. “I just continue to practice gratitude. It didn’t kill me. I am still here. God is good. Life is good, so it’s like, girl, I’m fine. I’m fine.”

“I don’t want to waste my breath on him, if I’m being so honest,” she continued. “I thought it was a good relationship. But it wasn’t, and that’s fine.”
“I just feel like, when someone has a hidden agenda, they’re going to come off as genuine as possible to reach their goal. The red flags that people saw, I didn’t see,” Craig said, addressing commentary from fans that Rodriguez’s so-called red flags were visible in their on-screen relationship.
“People are like, ‘You missed so many things.’ I’m like, ‘But I didn’t.’ Because no one’s perfect. No couple’s perfect. There are situations where we forgave each other as you would do in a relationship,” she added. “It gets frustrating, but it’s OK. Life goes on.”
“I’ve learned that I’m way stronger than I thought I was,” she said. “I knew I was a tough cookie, but once you go through a couple of trials and tribulations, you realize you build more character. I’m stronger than I think.”
