They turn out in droves to support the team. LSU has a winning tradition, so it’s not like this is our first rodeo,” said Camran Nguyen.Cameron Nguyen is a manager at The Bulldog on Magazine Street.He said LSU fans show up and show out for all games, and as the Tigers continue to play in the College World Series, Saturday was no different.”LSU is always a big draw, whether it’s football, baseball, or even women’s basketball, we get great turnout for LSU games,” Nguyen said.LSU fans filled the sports bar for a watch party, repping their purple and gold.Just a few blocks away, the Rendezvous Tavern was packed with fans supporting the Tigers.”It gets loud, it gets rowdy, everyone is pulling for the tigers, yelling and screaming,” said Thomas Friostoe.Friostoe is a lifelong LSU fan and manager at the bar. He says the game prompted an increase in sales.”We’re always excited to see LSU in the World Series, and it’s good for business,” Friostoe said.
