Man, 26, arrested on arson count after fire at Emporia business
The blaze was reported at 11:59 p.m. Friday at a business in Emporia. Uriel Pecina Sevilla, 26, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated arson.ormal charges are pending, officials said Tuesday morning.
The blaze was reported at 11:59 p.m. Friday at a business at 10 W. 11th Ave. The address was the location of the 10 West Grill +Dive Bar.
One person was arrested in connection with aggravated arson following a fire late Friday at an Emporia business, officials said. (KVOE Radio)
When Emporia Fire Department crews arrived on the scene, officials said, they found evidence of a small fire inside of the business that had been extinguished by staff members.
The Emporia Fire Department along with the Emporia Police Department investigated the blaze.
As a result of the investigation, Uriel Pecina Sevilla, 26, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated arson.
Formal charges are pending, officials said Tuesday morning.
