A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a woman at an Oakland Park business, authorities said.

Chris Luchenburg, 69, was arrested Friday in the fatal shooting of 54-year-old Cuiyun Fu, Broward Sheriff’s Office officials said.

Fu had been found shot to death inside a business at 2700 West Oakland Park Boulevard on Thursday afternoon.

Investigators learned Luchenburg and Fu had known each other for a few months, and discovered Luchenburg had entered the business on Wednesday morning, shooting and killing her before leaving the scene, officials said.

Her body was discovered the next day.

Luchenburg faces a charge of first-degree murder with a firearm.
