Nintendo’s official announcement reads, “Connect a compatible USB mouse (sold separately) to play the game on your Nintendo Switch system. If you’re playing on a Nintendo Switch 2 system, you can use the Joy-Con 2 controller like a mouse and let your imagination run wild,” in their inclusion of former console owners in the Mario Paint party.
