Sheridan HS Football: The Sheridan Broncs will take to the field to start the 2025 season today at Cheyenne South, as the team starts its quest for a 5th consecutive 4A state championship.

Taking a look at this year’s team, Sheridan has usually run the ball, more than passing.

Last year the Broncs led Class 4A in rushing yards per attempt at 6.4.

Head Coach Jeff Mowry says it could be more of the same this year, and this first game should be a good way to find out what works and what doesn’t.

Defensively, Coach Mowry says there’s a lot of experience coming back, and hopefully the reserves will get some time on the field as well.

Kickoff from Cheyenne is scheduled for 6pm.

You can watch a LIVE video stream of the game at sheridanmedia.com, and on the Sheridan Media Facebook and Youtube pages.

Also, Shane Parker will have the LIVE radio play-by-play call on AM 1410 KWYO and 106.9 FM.

At 3pm, the Lady Broncs go up against Rock Springs and at 5pm, they’ll take on Star Valley.

Both of those games will be played at Cheyenne South.

Tomorrow, Sheridan plays Green River and Riverton at 9am and 12-noon respectively, also at Cheyenne South.

Meanwhile, Big Horn and Buffalo are both at the Douglas Invitational.

The 2 teams will take on Wheatland, Alliance, Nebraska and each other today.

Tomorrow’s schedule and opponents are dependent on today’s results.

Tongue River is at Rocky Mountain, and today they will play Riverside, Burlington and Greybull.

Games tomorrow are to be announced.

Anderson was 19 of 36 passing for 260 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interception.

Durr caught 8 passes for 190 yards and the 1 score.
