Sheridan Jets Legion Baseball: The Wyoming Legion Baseball A-League State Tournament starts Thursday in Sheridan. The team is 26-24 on the season and are the #4 seed in the East. The Colorado Rockies lost the first game of a 3-game series last night at home vs. St. Louis 6-2. This weekend is the Wyoming Coaches Association Convention in Casper. For those who recently graduated, a few will get one last game on the volleyball or basketball court this Saturday. They will play for the North team in the All-Star Volleyball Game that starts at 1pm.

Sheridan Jets Legion Baseball: The Wyoming Legion Baseball A-League State Tournament starts Thursday in Sheridan.

As a result of being the host team, the Jets get an automatic invite into the bracket.

The team is 26-24 on the season and are the #4 seed in the East.

Head Coach Brian Fritz says the trick has been getting momentum on their side.

The Jets will take on West top seed Cody in Round 1 this Thursday at 7pm.

Other first round games have Powell vs. Torrington at 10am, Wheatland vs. Lovell at 1pm and the Casper Drillers vs. Riverton at 4pm.

The winner advances to the A-League Northwest Regional Tournament that will be played in Burley, Idaho.

Sheridan Troopers Legion Baseball: The Sheridan Troopers are preparing for the AA State Tournament that begins on Monday at Cheyenne.

The team will take on Laramie in the first round, and then either the winner or loser between Gillette and Rock Springs.

As a tune-up, Sheridan will play their home finale tomorrow in a double-header vs. the Billings Expos.

First pitch is scheduled for 5pm.

WY Coaches Association All-Star Volleyball and Basketball Games: This weekend is the Wyoming Coaches Association Convention in Casper and for those who recently graduated, a few will get one last game on the volleyball or basketball court this Saturday.

Naomi Andersen and Kailee Holst of Sheridan, Emme Mullinax of Big Horn, McKinlee Scammon of Tongue River, and Grace Finkle of Buffalo, will play for the North team in the All-Star Volleyball Game that starts at 1pm.

TR Head Coach Kristen Masters will coach the team

Lady Eagle Paxten Aksamit as well as Buffalo Head Coach Farrah Patterson and Buffalo Assistant Head Coach Kelley Nelson, will participate in the girls basketball game that starts at 3pm.

Brady Engling of Buffalo will participate in the boys basketball game that starts at 5pm.

Colorado Rockies Baseball: The Colorado Rockies lost the first game of a 3-game series last night at home vs. St. Louis 6-2.

The Rocks were up 2-nothing after 3 innings, but it was all Cardinals after that.

The 2 teams will play each other again today, starting at 6:40pm.
