While some teams took a chance on international players, plenty of names familiar to those who followed college basketball during the regular season and NCAA tournament got the opportunity to continue their careers in the NBA.

Fleming, a 6-foot-9 wing from St. Joseph’s was the first player selected in the second round. Yahoo Sports’ Kevin O’Connor filed this report on him:

“Fleming is a hustler who drains spot-up jumpers and brings energy on defense, swatting shots and snagging boards. But he has some real warts as a ball-handler with a lack of experience against high-level competition, so teams will have to feel real confident his role player skill-set will translate.”

These are the 59 selections from Thursday’s 2025 NBA Draft second round:

The second round had only 29 selections instead of the usual 30 because the New York Knick forfeited the No. 56 pick when an NBA investigation found that the Knicks tampered with Jalen Brunson before signing him as a free agent in June 2022. New York had contacted Brunson and agreed to a four-year, $104 million contract before the league’s official free agency period began.

Please check out the grades for the 29 second-round picks from Thursday with analysis on each of the selections from O’Connor. And the full list of 59 players who were selected at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York can be seen here.
