NFL Draft Summer Scouting Report: Brian Parker II, OT, Duke
Brian Parker II is a defensive tackle at Duke. He is a 3-Star recruit. His cousin is Dereck Lively II (12th overall pick in the NBA, Dallas Mavericks) He was Second-Team All-ACC in 2024. He has the makings of an NFL tackle, but he needs more reps and he needs to get worked around some more. He also has some work to do with handling speed off the edge but he handles power well and I believe the base is there for more growth with more experience.
Are we going to write about quarterbacks? You know it, but why? Because other NFL teams will draft them, just as they will draft every other position. It all matters whether these players end up on the Bucs, the Bears, or the Steelers. We write these so Bucs fans can be the most informed fans.

Player Summary
Brian Parker II has all the makings of an NFL tackle, but he needs more reps and he needs to get worked around some more. The Duke tackle does well in maintaining his ground while not giving up too much, as he recovers well. I really appreciate how he tries to get his power into everyone he collides with when creating running lanes. He has some work to do with handling speed off the edge but he handles power well and I believe the base is there for more growth with more experience.
