Ahead of its debut next month, we finally have a probable first look at the Nothing Phone (3) with an updated design language, three cameras, and no visible lighting hardware.

Nothing has, since the beginning, put a huge emphasis on its transparent hardware design language. It’s been present throughout all of the company’s products thus far (excluding the CMF sub-brand), and it’s not going away on Phone (3). A leaked render of the device from Max Jambor shows the updated design with that usual transparent look, but also with a major change.

As Nothing itself confirmed, the Glyph Interface has been “killed.” There are no visible lights on the back of the Nothing Phone (3) in this alleged image, both in terms of the lights we’ve come to know on past devices and the rumored dot matrix-style design. That said, it’s still possible the latter is being used and that it’s just hard to see in this particular image.

The first thing that really standard out, though, is the new camera module. Nothing Phone (3) will unsurprisingly have three cameras should this image prove to be true, with a layout that feels somehow both like the Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro’s respective designs were combined. The camera bump doesn’t seem as big as the Pro, but not as subdued as the base model, all while still having a… unique layout.

Nothing Phone (3) is set to launch on July 1 alongside the company’s first over-ear headphones. Leaks suggest the price could be around $800 in the US market.
