Pakistan falsely declared that it had successfully targeted a Sukhoi-30MKI aircraft stationed at Punjab’s Adampur air base and struck an S-400 surface-to-air missile system at Gujarat’s Bhuj airfield. These claims were thoroughly debunked by independent satellite imagery expert Damien Symon, who shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) that he has conducted detailed analysis of these claims throughout the previous month. Pakistan showed a doctored photo as an evidence in support of its claim, showing an aircraft positioned next to what it claimed was blast damage. The image predates the recent Indo-Pak conflict as it was taken in February 2025.

These claims were thoroughly debunked by independent satellite imagery expert Damien Symon, who shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) that he has conducted detailed analysis of these claims throughout the previous month.
No strike ever occurred at Adampur Airbase
Pakistan repeatedly claimed that it destroyed a Sukhoi-30MKI fighter aircraft at Punjab’s Adampur airbase.
Pak showed a doctored photo as an evidence in support of its claim, showing an aircraft positioned next to what it claimed was blast damage.
Debunking this, Damien Symon tweeted: “New report alleges a direct hit at India’s Adampur Air Base by Pakistan damaged a Su-30, however a review reveals this image taken in March 2025, pre-conflict actually shows a MiG-29 undergoing maintenance, the dark soot near the engine test pad is routine, not battle damage.”

Pak peddling old image to claim Bhuj strike

Earlier, while debunking Pak’s claims that it had struck an S-400 surface-to-air missile system at Gujarat’s Bhuj airfield, Simon said: “An image is being circulated now as a Pakistan destroyed S-400 radar in India, a review however indicates it’s likely just oil stains at Bhuj military base’s vehicle service yard, also the image predates the recent Indo-Pak conflict as it was taken in February 2025.”

Also, India has issued digital evidence to show that Pakistan lost four combat jets and two large aircraft during Operation Sindoor. A report said that Pakistan resorted to firing PL-15 air-to-air missiles, which are Chinese versions, and also tried to target the Indian Air Force’s aerial attack by using two fire units of mixed range from Malir and Chaklala Cantonment near Karachi.
