Lauren Sánchez and Jeff Bezos have been seen for the first time since their opulent Venetian wedding.
The smiling couple stepped out Saturday morning in casual outfits after their Friday evening celebration on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore. The main wedding reception is set to be held today in the Arsenale, a historic complex surrounded by fortified walls on the eastern side of the city.
Bezos was seen clad in a black tux and bowtie on his way to the altar yesterday. Sánchez, meanwhile, wore a mermaid-style Dolce & Gabbana gown complete with lace long sleeves, a corset top, and buttons straight down the center.
The nuptials are expected to have cost between $46 and $55 million, which is unlikely to make a dent in Bezos’s $231 billion net worth.
Bill Gates, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kim Kardashian, Tom Brady, Sydney Sweeney, and Orlando Bloom were among the attendees at what is being dubbed “the wedding of the century.”

The couple are getting married in Venice, Italy. A spokesperson for the mayor of Venice told the press that the city is prepared to host: “Only 200 guests will have been invited and therefore it will be easy for Venice to accommodate such an event, without any disruption whatsoever to the city, its residents and visitors,” he said.
Guests for the wedding are being hosted at a number of five-star hotels across the city, including the Aman Venice, Hotel Cipriani, and the Gritti Palace.

Lauren Sánchez wore a long-sleeve lace mermaid-line gown by Dolce & Gabbana, complete with 180 silk chiffon-covered buttons.
