A Hero’s Journey is a branching Special Research quest exclusive to Go Fest 2025: Global ticket holders in Pokémon Go. You need a Go Fest Global ticket and to play Pokémon Go between 10am to 6pm (local time) on either Saturday 28th June or Sunday 29th June to unlock this quest. It’s a branching quest and you’ll have to pick between two paths – Crowned Sword Journey or Crowned Shield Journey – when you reach quest step two. This decision can not be changed and alters a number of challenges and rewards you’ll encounter during the quest.
