The Port of Seattle has announced that Sunday, July 6, is expected to be the busiest travel day, with nearly 200,000 people passing through Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
SEA expects around 900,000 travelers total over the next few days, marking a six percent increase from the same period last year.
“What we can expect is packed airports,” said a spokesperson. “Some airlines have reduced routes, so that means that if there are fewer flights out there and demand is high, those airplanes are going to be packed, so don’t leave any room for error. Don’t be late to the airport.”
