BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WBNG) — Minor League Baseball is aiming to set a Guinness World Record for the most signatures on a piece of sports memorabilia.
The eight-foot, 1,200-pound ball made its way to Mirabito Stadium on Saturday with thousands of signatures on it during the Rumble Ponies game vs Altoona.
In total, the ball will travel to 15 Minor League parks.
The event is set to come to an end on July 19 in front of the MLB’s New York City headquarters, where the ball will be verified for the Guinness World Record.
