RAVE to the Washington state superintendent of public instruction for finding funds to continue the Imagination Library of Washington for an additional year after it was axed from the state’s budget. Here’s to Dolly Parton for creating this wonderful program for newborns through age 5. RANT to whoever decided to kick the drummers out of Gas Works Park. As a nearby resident, I enjoyed the Wednesday night sessions both from a distance and up close. Shame on you for being unwelcome to some beautiful texture.
