SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – According to AAA a record number of Americans are presumed to travel domestically for July fourth weekend.

Travel expert Julian Kheel tells ABC7 both the crowds and and weather loclly and otherwise could cause delays, “When you have bad weather, rain or storm, on top of the immense traffic, you are going to see delays and those delays ripple across the whole system. When one flight is delayed at one airport, that means that the same plane will be delayed back out. So even if storm isn’t in your area, you could see delays from storm elsewhere in the country and that’s why it’s important to leave yourself flexibility leave yourself time and just be ready to be there for a little while if necessary.”
