The Prime Minister reiterated his resolve to eradicate Naxalism, stressing that Indian security forces are swiftly advancing in their goal to eradicate Naxalism from its roots. “The country has long been a victim of various forms of violence — whether it is terrorism or Naxalism. However, today, the reach of Naxalism is shrinking rapidly,” he said.
“Many districts are free of Naxalism today. We are proud that the Indian constitution is emerging victorious against Naxalism. The ‘red corridors’ are transforming into ‘green growth zones’.”

PM Modi also said that the brutal atrocities against civilians during the Pahalgam terror attack had shocked the world and lauded representatives from most parties and various states for rising above party interests to prioritise national interest.
“They went to many countries and, with a united voice, ran a highly successful campaign to expose Pakistan, the sponsor of terrorism, on the global stage. I want to commend all those Members of Parliament and political parties who contributed to this effort in the spirit of national unity.”
