The first Salina Business Expo will connect local businesses, entrepreneurs, and the community.

The expo takes place September 18th at Tony’s Pizza Events Center in Salina, Kansas.

Informational meetings for potential exhibitors and sponsors will be held in July.

The first Salina Business Expo is coming to central Kansas later this year.

The Salina Area Chamber of Commerce announced it is launching the expo, an event to connect local businesses, entrepreneurs and the community.

The expo will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 18 at Tony’s Pizza Events Center and will showcase businesses from around Salina and surrounding areas.

“The Salina Business Expo is all about strengthening local connections,” said Renee Duxler, president and CEO of the Salina Area Chamber of Commerce. “This is an opportunity for businesses of all sizes to showcase what they do best, for job seekers to explore new opportunities, and for residents to see just how much talent and innovation exists right here in Salina.”

According to the chamber, it will have informational meetings about the expo for those interested in exhibiting or sponsoring it. Those meetings will be open to members and nonmembers of the chamber and will take place at 4 p.m. on July 7, noon on July 8 and 9 a.m. on July 11 at the Visit Salina Annex, 120 W. Ash St.
