According to the released photo, the Samsung Trifold Phone consists of three rear panels. The middle panel is expected to be equipped with a cover display name camera.

“Samsung marks the device as ‘Multifold 7′ rather than the Galaxy G Fold in the animation file,” the media said, adding, “It is possible that the final marketing name is simply a temporary code name.”

Industry sources predict that G Fold will lead the second heyday of foldable phones. Earlier, competitors such as China’s Huawei introduced Trifold phones, but they revealed limitations in terms of durability and completeness.

Samsung plans to prove its technological leadership once again by applying premium materials and independent hinge technology to the new product. The initial volume is expected to be limited, but it is analyzed that the symbolism and technology leading effect in the premium market will be significant.

Consumers are also showing high expectations for G Fold’s innovative form factor, large-screen usability, and durability.
