While Samsung’s upcoming launch event is primary for new foldables, the company is also teasing a new pair of Galaxy Buds called the “Core,” but they’re coming up a lot sooner than the new smartphones.

Samsung’s Galaxy Buds lineup hasn’t seen many changes in recent memory, but one of the newest additions was the Galaxy Buds FE back in late 2023. But it seems the company may have two pairs of budget-friendly earbuds in the pipeline. A Samsung app hinted at both “Galaxy Buds Core” and “Galaxy Buds 3 FE” in the works, and the former is apparently coming very soon.

As recently noted by SammyGuru, Samsung has been teasing the “Core” name of its new Galaxy Buds for a little while now. This includes through marketing emails, its website, and push notifications from the Samsung Shop app which said:

Register now: Let the music move you to the core! Get notified as the new Samsung Galaxy Buds launch. Don’t miss the beat!

The teaser page on Samsung’s site even includes a direct reference to “Galaxy Buds Core” as the product’s name, too.

But that’s not all.

In India, Samsung has started teasing this launch via Amazon, confirming a June 27 launch for “Galaxy Buds Core.”

There are still questions regarding how these earbuds will differ from the Galaxy Buds FE – or a sequel to that product, for that matter – but it’s clear we’ll get our answer in just a few short days. And, presumably, “Core” will be among the freebies available with Samsung’s next foldables next month.

Reservations are free, and there’s no obligation to actually buy a device if you sign up, but there’s no other time you can get that $50 credit (which can go towards Galaxy Watch 8), 3x reward points, and other perks.
