Tharoor has been the Thiruvananthapuram MP since 2009.
“It is up to the party high command to decide whether to take action against him or not. But we have decided that he should be kept away from all party functions in Thiruvananthapuram,” said Muraleedharan. In response, Tharoor said he had “nothing to comment”.
